Collaborate with developers
As the first UI/UX designer on the team, I anticipated what developers would see on Figma as viewers and created a short guideline for them. When we couldn’t schedule online meetings, I recorded brief videos demonstrating the user flow and new UI designs. These efforts made it easier for developers to navigate the design files effectively.
Improve Storytelling skills
During my time at Rollbytes Inc., I assisted Roy, our CEO, in creating multiple slides to present our product. I learned that strong storytelling skills are essential when doing a presentation. A compelling story makes it easier for the audience to empathize and see things from others' perspectives.
Present design to peers
Throughout the design process, I regularly presented my design outcomes to our CEO and peers. When my designs conflicted with others' opinions, I would look up references, listen to their perspectives, and then try to find a balance. I also discovered the importance of discussing challenges with colleagues—when you're stuck, just ask!
